"Charming “village” of renovated cabins with a single bar and restaurant. It was very atmospheric and a lovely stop enroute from Alesund to Trondheim. Not much to do there so arriving around 5:00 or 6:00pm is perfect for your overnight stay. "

"Booked a room with a fjord view and we weren't disappointed - it was great just looking out the window. We also appreciated the extra space, with sofa and arm chairs to sit on. Bed very comfortable.
We also had an excellent meal in their restaurant one evening, trying the local delicacy klippfisk.
Molde is a very pleasant place to spend a couple of days and a good base for outings to e.g. Trollstigen and the Atlantic Ocean Road.
It was our favourite stay in Norway so far this time, but there were a few minor downsides. It could do with a few more hooks for towels in the bathroom and easy to reach electrical sockets by the bedside (leading to the additional comment - please vacuum under the bed more often!). Also the staff, whilst not unhelpful or unpleasant, were not as friendly as other places we've stayed."
