Hotels near Buckner-Bumpass Park

"I wasn't expecting much but this was bad. Checked in fine but to tell you the truth the room was disappointing. Looks as if it had been recently remodeled but the floors were dirty, the faucet was missing it's airater and the towels were worn through in places as well as stained. Had planned to stay again this coming weekend but I would rather forfeit the night's stay then return to that place again. Hard to believe that that place met code standards."

"I rarely leave one-star reviews, but this motel is an absolute disaster. The room was filthy—no refrigerator, no phone, and a broken, cracked pipe. The outside area was equally disgusting. I’ve uploaded photos to the site to show exactly how bad it is. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place at all costs."

"Breakfast could be better. The room was clean and new, but the hallways and common areas could use some renovations. The hotel was quiet and convenient to shops, restaurants, and other places of interest."

"We will never stay again as there was no microwave, paid parking (for an empty parking lot), plus paid parking is not necessary no one is walking to any of the close locations. The paid parking was just a money grab. the bathroom needs up grading. Why is the toilet that close to the shower door and the glass door of shower can’t be opened if the bathroom door is even half open/a glass door at that. The fresh towel rack is over the toilet. Bathroom layout is just weird and small. Plus no free breakfast. We prefer their sister hotel Hampton Inn suite."

"Room was ‘tired’. Nothing big, but multiple small things. Breakfast was the same each day- scrambled eggs and sausage. Maybe would have been ok if it was hot. Coffee was the worst I have had in a long time. Ended up going to McDonalds for our coffee. Staff did not seem to really care, almost as if we were an inconvenience. Had stayed there several years ago and thought it was better. We have family in the area so come in several times a year. Barring the other area hotels being booked up, doubt we will stay here again."
