The hotel is conveniently located in Bucharest and there is parking available for a fee. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent and staff is friendly. Good choice for all types of travellers.

The big plus for this hotel is, it is close and just walking distance to the Parliament and other attractions and breakfast is included in our stay. But our room looks so out dated. The carpeting and bed had seen better days. The hotel reception has a strong musk scent.

The room was clean and well looked after with a great view of the cathedral. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food and service were great. Only downsides: The road outside was quite busy and noisy in the mornings. It was quite warm in the rooms and they had turned off the air conditioning for winter

No Concierge, Bedrooms are very basic. Rubbish bin ion bathroom but not in bedroom. No Kleenex. Only 1 pillow per bed. You are a 3 star, not a 4 star. Huge hotel but no swimming pool. On night 2 I was told that I could not eat dinner in the hotel as they had a group there. After I made a fuss, they let me in and In had a meal off the alacarte menu.

Close to Christmas market but poor condition

Positives: hotel walking distance to Christmas market, reception staff nice and polite. Negatives: room smelled strongly of smoke as non smokers this was extremely off putting, duvet was for a single (twin) bed placed on a double bed so it didn’t cover the mattress. Hair dryer cut out after 15 seconds, it would then need a 5min break before using for 15 seconds and cutting out again. Room could have been a lot cleaner. Limited items served for breakfast and not much left if you arrive after 9am. Coffee machine didn’t work and lots of people were complaining. Male server at breakfast left us feeling very uncomfortable as a group of 4 women. He asked a lot of personal questions, kept kissing our hands, touching our shoulders and made two of the ladies move up so he could sit next to them on the bench, whilst still trying to finish our breakfast. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. We did not complain about any of these things during our stay so to be fair to the hotel they were not given an opportunity to rectify the issues but we were staying just two nights for our friends 40th birthday and did not want to waste time talking to hotel managers and moving rooms/repacking etc when we had a limited time to get out and sightsee.
