"A lovely hotel, we had a nice welcome on arrival. Able to park although as advised the car park is small and quite tight to get in and out. We arrived early parked up and returned on time and our room was ready The room was lovely, large room with very comfortable bed, tea coffee including pods available. Bathroom was nice and had lovely shower gels body lotion etc Offered breakfast which we booked. Food was delicious, a great range of options Definitely recommend"

Sleeping Bear Hotel Dorchester

"I stayed at the Sleeping Bear as a base for a two night trip to the Jurassic coast. I travelled by rail, its a ten minute walk up from the station with nearby bus stops close by. I stayed in room 2 in the courtyard, I appreciated this as I'm not good with stairs. This was a good size room, with a double bed and a large ensuite bathroom. There's freeview tv& hot drinks and biscuits: They also offered free premium coffee from a maker in the lobby. Although the restaurant isn't currently in use, there's a excellent selection of café and restaurants nearby for breakfast. All in all a good stay."

"Staff were very welcoming and a lovely spacious room. There was a cobweb on one of the posts on the bed, but the rest of the property was reasonably clean. Bedding wasn’t the most comfortable, but the bed was. The plugs in the bathroom were slightly annoying, but overall it was a lovely stay, a very nice bar area, and great staff."
