A smattering of vegan Moroccan salads at Chez Mimoun in Brussels. Mimoun, the owner, and his buddy, Freddie, shared a beer with us and chatted for a while about everything from Belgium beer to their childhoods in Morocco and Algeria. They treated us like old friends.
Most visible tower of Brussels just next to the main station, Gare du Midi ("Midi" referring to the southwards going trains towards the Mediterranean Sea. Spectacular glass tower on a seemingly tiny triangular base standing in water.
