SCAM: This property requires you to pay a security deposit (ours was almost 40% of the total cost of our stay) via a third party website. They would not send us the check-in procedures until we had sent the deposit via bank transfer. They said that my first transfer wouldn't work because it did not include the required reference number and made me send a second. They said that the deposit would be refunded within 10 to 14 days, minus the city tourist tax. After 16 days had passed, I emailed them informing them that I had not yet received my refund. They claimed that they could not confirm that I had made the transfers, despite the fact that I sent them pdf copies of the transfer receipts from my bank, and that they needed me to send them a complete screenshot of my 30-day bank statement. When I tried to have Expedia contact them, they did not pick up the phone and Expedia said there was nothing else they could do for me. I suppose this was just an expensive lesson that I had to learn.
