"Apartment is small and quite dark as its on the ground floor, but this meant it was cool even on very hot days. It's really well equipped with everything we needed. The only slight issue we found was the bells from the clock tower 50yards away, they start at 6am and stop at 10pm. Didn't cause us issues as we wake up early but not great for those who want a lie in. Location is perfect just a few mins walk to the small back streets with great restaurants and close to the harbour."

"The property was just right. An easy walk to town and equipped with all the essentials. We are four, so it was great to have two bathrooms The hosts were great. They picked us up at the bus station when we arrived ( and dropped us off when we departed). We had dinner at the host's son restaurant and watched the sunset while enjoying delicious food and drink. "From the moment I arrived at the hotel staff were welcoming and made me feel like I was at home, before I had even checked in the concierge asked my name and took my luggage up to my room while I completed my check in. Every day the wonderful staff asked how my day was and if I was enjoying my time on Hvar and were interested in having a conversation rather than just asking a question as most hotel staff will do as they are expected to this was very different they cared about the guests that are staying at the Riva Marina hotel. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Hvar."
