"I was travelling on my own for a one night stay. I stayed in the Aysgarth Room. It was absolutely immaculate and the view from the bathroom and bedroom was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was lovely. I had the full English. I will definitely visit again with family ."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Three Horseshoes in Barnard Castle. Our room was extremely well-equipped and spotlessly clean. It was a lovely touch to find a kettle with plenty of tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits waiting for us. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was another highlight—there was an excellent variety on the menu, ranging from a full cooked breakfast to cereals, fresh fruit, and juices. It’s in a great location for exploring the area, with convenient car parking available just behind Morrisons. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

"Friendly staff, room was value for money. A little disappointed that the restaurant was only serving same food as bar, especially as booked for a birthday. Bar staff very customer orientated and super friendly, made as fuss of hubby for his birthday."

"We had a very enjoyable stay at the Stone House Hotel, from checking in to checking out the entire staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were cooked to order which is so much better than having a buffet. The dinners were superb, each night it was difficult to choose. Special mention needs to go to the beef cheek and Yorkshire pudding as a starter. Nice walk into Hawes to visit the Wensleydale Creamery and Dales museum as well as some nice local shops. After walking back up the hill to the hotel then sitting in the garden with a drink and enjoying the views was just so relaxing."
