This was a very charming inn, the property was tranquil and many treasures found beach combing right there! Near by was amazing burrito bowl at El El Frijoles! Perfect weather, atmosphere and sleeping!

This is a quaint almost like a boarding house but very VERY far from Acadia. The hour plus drive was torture on really bad roads and locals doing 85 on 45 roads with twists and curves. Really tough at night and coming back from the park. Do not book if you want proximity to Bar Harbor. The breakfast is overpriced and the serving staff overwhelmed. There are no options and the nearest place to get food is miles away. They offer pizza on Monday for $35 which is ridiculous. There is no fridge or microwave in the small room and the place feels outdated without the charm. Good place to go if you want to be remote and just explore Blue Hill - as there is a lake and hiking. But you are stranded for food options.

Really nice outside the inside was nice but could be spruced up and decorated the weekend. Lobster bake was good a little pricey for no more than what you got. I would suggest some chips or fries with the lobster roll.

This place was perfect for what we wanted to experience. An old inn with access to the reach. Beautiful wraparound porch! The bed was super comfortable. Sitting by the water was so peaceful.
