"I stayed in several hotels when I used to visit Como. Now I live on the lake and when I stay in Como, this is my preferred hotel. The location is excellent, nestled in the pedestrian streets, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. Staff are always extremely helpful and give you a complementary drink upon arrival. All rooms have coffee / tea facilities and you get a bottle of water also. "

"This apartment is down a very grubby, dark alley. That would be ok if there was a clean and welcoming accommodation at the end. But no! We had ongoing issues with the toilet flush and had to pour buckets of water down the toilet, this was eventually semi resolved but continued to stop working intermittently. Parts of the apartment were very dirty, inside shower, outside shower behind sink and on walls and corners of rooms. Blinds missing from windows, handle missing from cupboard and lid missing from kettle making it dangerous to use. Thank goodness we were only there 3 nights, we were so glad to leave. Awful!"
