The condition of our 2 bedroom apartment was poor , old and run down. The kitchen was clean. The bathrooms were not kept well, showers dirty with scum and mould build up. There was also a terrible musty smell and I had to leave the doors open. The check-in service was great.

Came up to Brisbane from Sydney for a family emergency. From booking to arrival and stay everything was wonderful. Oaks is a consistent brand and you know you’re going to get a good clean room every time

A lovely property close to RBWH which was our reason for staying. $29 per night for parking is disappointing given the price per room is higher than other local properties, but still the convenience of location outweighs this. Lovely staff and well equipped.

The room was a great size for my family group and apartment layout great. However apartment needs a lot of work as it is old and run down. Ensuite shower hand held was terrible. Beds comfortable, lounge ok outside balcony very limited, unkept and grotty.

Close to the hospital, quiet. Was dusty but they cleaned it. No wifi but they moved rooms. Weekends not cleaning just emptying bins and swapping towels. Helpful and accommodating staff.

Location is great, grounds of property are lovely but rooms are run down. The couch was it itchy and gross. Lots of hair and dirty walls. Everything needs a good scrub especially the furniture. I ended up putting a blanket over the couch because it was so nasty. Blanket in cupboard also needed a wash but was better than the couch.

Room dark and dingy, no internet and staff could not help with getting the internet up and running. The tv had poor connectivity and would regularly drop out. Staff didn’t care and just fobbed my concerns off. Room was serviced but they missed making the bed and leaving bath mats. Just sloppy and heartless place to stay. Close to hospital which was good. Wont stay again

Short walk to Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital.

3 adults stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 1 night. We were very very impressed with the unit overall. Only one concern we had was the ceiling fans and air cons in both bedrooms were operated by wall panel and no instruction how to use. We are due to stay again next week but will be asking for instruction booklet this time.

I was originally booked in at another Oaks property but as they were undergoing renovations was transferred to the iStay. Overall great location. Nice sized rooms and property. Could do with a bit of a makeover to freshen it up and little. Bathroom looked as though however it had not been cleaned for some time with mould in shower including grout, door and soap holder.

There was a list of items in the room that was an issue. Couldnt connect to internet when arrived, no hand soap, one remote batteries were dead, one bathroom had mould in it and the other had air everywhere. The bathtub switch was stuck in place and couldnt be used. Soap depenser in shower fell off wall. On check in had to wait 30 mins after check in time to get into room and staff seem not to know what they are doing. All information about contact details and parking is only given to you once you get to check in. Poorly organised.
