"I was up here for a wedding and had never been to Poulsbo. Was planning to stay only one night. Since I was going to see a lot of family hadn't seen in awhile, I decided to add a day. I called the office and the friendly, upbeat woman I spoke with got me the same room for both days. Came in to check in and the friendly, upbeat gentleman with the cool long hair, quickly got me checked in and even got my card to work both days. Cookie was good too!! Room was really clean and cozy. The towels were creatively displayed and easy to access everything. Fridge was cold too; I had drinks. Quick walk to the Brass Kraken (very cool place and great staff) to meet up with family and their friends. Loved the atmosphere of the town. Like Newport but still its own place. The place was quiet at night too.
Saturday morning I came in to officially check in on Expedia, like it was explained to me, and the woman (also friendly and upbeat and happy to learn new stuff), who was newer there, handled it no problem and had help from others just in case!! They were all happy to help and also friendly.
Everything was great!! Security worked too. Kid tried to open my door Sat morn and their security card didn't let them in. Loved the rustic atmosphere and style; especially with the Viking history of the city. Was too busy to use the hot tub and pool, but saw others enjoy it.
Will definitely use this place next time I'm here if not my destination! Short drive to Heronswood Garden. Perfect!!"
