"Unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance standards. On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. Top Brindley Hotel Reviews

Holiday Inn Chester - South by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel was what you'd expect from holiday inn staff were great and really helpful and of course a wonderful breakfast"

The Mill Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good

"We had a lovely stay for our wedding anniversary. The Mill is excellently placed for the City centre, 5 minutes walk & you're in the shopping area. The staff were all friendly. The room was clean and tidy. The robes that we paid extra for were not used as they were not soft, but rather hard and well washed. The towels however were great. The bed was a bit soft for our liking. The room was very warm and we couldn't find a thermostat to lower the temperature. Breakfast was great, plenty of selections. Overall a very pleasant stay and would visit again."

Nunsmere Hall Hotel

8/10 Good

"Well-placed hotel as a stopover en-route to Cruising from Liverpool. The Dining room lacked atmosphere, had a limited menu choice, though evening meal was well presented and tasty, but was rather expensive. ‘Petunia’ Bedroom was of a good size, had excellent views of the extensive gardens and was very clean - it would not be ideal for disabled due to a small staircase leading to the room and another just inside the room. Documentation provided clearly indicates the potential charges associated with a lost Room Key or Toiletries taken from the room and a discretionary 10% Service Charge added to all Restaurant and Bar bills."
