"The hotel is Beautiful, staff friendly. Downfall They only had one place to eat , the restaurant was turned into Buffet only ,$45 per person to eat, or you could get a players card and gamble then buffet would be $15 per person, the wait time was hour and half long, and standing in line. Iast time I went they went you had a restaurant sit down meal and if it was busy you could sit at the bar until your table was ready or eat at the bar. Would I go back not sure "

"We chose this hotel because Best Western markets itself as clean, safe, and family-friendly, with amenities like pools and breakfast. Unfortunately, this stay did not reflect that standard. This is my second concerning experience with Best Western. During a previous stay at Best Western Plus Lamplighter Inn & Conference Centre, there were hazards including a protruding nail and unsafe pool conditions that led to a child being injured. This stay was worse. A staff member knocked and entered our room before I could respond while I was inside with my children and half dressed. This was a serious breach of privacy and safety. The room itself felt unsafe. The bathtub tap came off in our hands, flooring had visible gaps and uneven areas that could easily cause a fall, and electrical outlets were loose. We were moved to a second room, however the conditions were similar, indicating this was not an isolated issue. Cleanliness was unacceptable. There was thick dust throughout, and we found visible blood stains on the comforter that appeared to have been previously marked but not removed. The pool area showed clear water damage and maintenance concerns. Overall, this property appears poorly maintained, with patchwork repairs creating additional hazards. This environment is not consistent with Best Western’s values or a family-friendly brand and is hazardous to both guests and employees."

"Room was very clean but we were surprised that we booked a suite yet there wasn’t a door on the bedroom for privacy. That’s not a suite - it’s a studio and should have been charged that way. Secondly, neither TV would stream even though we tried multiple times. The remotes only worked intermittently. Don’t have breakfast there if you have high blood pressure - the bacon was so salty it was almost inedible. Lastly, the noise was insane. There were kids running up and down the hallway until 11:30PM when my husband told them to pipe down, there was thumping all night above us, and the trains going by are quite loud. To their credit, the staff responded immediately when we went downstairs to complain about the kids. The staff was excellent and the hotel itself is very nice, but the experience of our stay was so frustrating that we contemplated leaving in the middle of the night. "
