We were stranded on the island by the air traffic controller strike. I appreciate the staff opening their door for us to stay at a much higher rate. The place is hard to get to, far from being clean, no amenities like mini fridge, hair blower, safe and etc.
We were very lucky to find this place to stay during recent travel disruptions due to weather. The guest house is in a more residential part of Bridgetown away from the tourist area. It has extensive grounds where you can walk, sit, and observe monkeys, turtles, pet dogs, and nature. It is very peaceful and a great value.
It is about USD 20 to take a car to the beach and tourist restaurants. The breakfast is simple. The proprietor is very kind and helped us out when we needed a room during multiple flight cancellations. We were in a recently renovated suite that was clean and nicely decorated.
If you are looking for someplace that’s not fancy but has a lot of charm and is a terrific value, definitely stay here.
Very peaceful place just outside Bridgetown, one to remember. We had a dinner and breakfast which was both perfect.
We had a 4 year old child with us, which is probably not the ideal visitor here, but the staff was very accommodating and kind.
I loved , loved this beautiful property. It was so peaceful and idyllic…. Our room was recently renovated and was very comfortable. The pool and the main house was very well preserved…. Breakfast the first morning was complimentary and was very tasty! The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Please don’t hesitate to book. The pictures doesn’t do it justice.
The washroom area had no door and was right next to the bed. The floors were painted plywood. The mattress was harder than the floor and only two sheets on the bed. It was significantly over priced. The property should be condemned
Beautiful place! Staff was very accommodating and hospitable. The room was lovely and the bathroom was very modern. A very homey but lovely atmosphere.
This wellness sanctuary was exactly what I needed. From the birdsong to the rain pouring down in the evening, everything about this place invites you to slow down and breathe. The plantation-style setting is quaint, grounding, and deeply peaceful—surrounded by nature in a way that feels authentic and intentional.
I spent the evening resting on the hammock as the rain fell, then moved to the upper deck to read, reflect, and write. As a writer, I really appreciated how inspiring and calming the space is—it naturally encourages creativity and presence. The simplicity of the accommodations is part of the beauty; it relies on nature and the essentials rather than excess, and it feels far more nourishing than an overpriced, overly curated hotel.
One moment in particular will stay with me forever: while I was reading and recording a poem I was working on, right at a tender line about love, the on-site dog wandered over and sweetly started licking my face—completely unprompted. It was such a pure, unexpected moment of connection that my heart just melted. I felt so much love in that moment, and it perfectly captured the spirit of this place.
Adding to the magic, I’m celebrating my birthday this weekend, and the sanctuary happened to be setting up for a party—creating a beautiful, celebratory energy that felt like the universe saying, “We already set the table for you.”
My only regret is booking just one night. I absolutely wish I had stayed longer and would return in a heartbeat.
Peaceful, relaxing. the host Holly met all of our needs, and the other staff were very good as well. Pool was very nice, and the rooms were great and kept very nicely.
Dog hair all over furniture in common areas. Not food available. Pool was dirty. No greeting or explanation given about property. No assistance with luggage and all rooms are upstairs. Property is not as described. This is really a wedding venue with room for the wedding party to get ready and not a boutique hotel.
This an interesting and different option. Great if you want a secluded place away from the bustle. Country house feel. Not much in the way of food or amenities but very relaxing. Close enough to town and entertainment, restaurants etc.
Confusing on prices. A little rundown, but a great venue.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Never knew what was included and what we would be charged. Staff wasn't really around much. No coffee in the morning before we went out. No ice. No hot water two days.
Fabulous most relaxing stunning place, great staff and two wonderful dogs had a lovely holiday in a small independent hotel. Would recommend it if you want a real Bajan experience and Pamelas pancakes are the best.
This was quite possibly the worst experience I have ever had in my life of travelling. Upon arriving we had to take a cab which cost over $80 US to the site. The hotel was under renovations and the entire road leading to the hotel was ripped up with construction vehicles blocking our passage. After an hour we finally managed to locate a staff member who told us the hotel was closed. We spent 6 weeks trying to get our money back only to have Expedia tell us that the hotel would not reimburse us. We were forced to find other accommodations in high season at significant cost to us. Stay away from this hotel at all costs.
