Nice quiet property, beautiful space on the river side, easy to walk to dining and downtown, The staff were friendly, especially Roxanne and Rocky dog at the front desk. Comfortable bed too!
I don't think the room was worth the high cost. Older decor, beds were rock hard and AC was soo loud on the low setting, that it was hard to sleep. The town is cute but almost $300 a night is a little steep for what you get and no breakfast.
Wonderful hotel! We had the site and it was perfect for our family...i wish we would had stayed for a week!
Town is cute. Highly recommend Sierra Strange for coffee and souvenirs. River right behind the hotel.

The parking lot was under construction. Was not notified until check in. Was told to be leave car on street before 8 am.
Room was aged but clean. Comfortable bed. Staff were pleasant.
Amazing stay. Roxy was so kind and accommodating. I really appreciated how thoughtful she was. We enjoyed or stay very much and definitely will return.
Walker River lodge was perfectly acceptable- it was safe and quiet (other than the other guests who had a screaming fit outside one evening), the rooms were clean and comfortable, mattress was comfortable, showers took a while to get hot and low pressure but other than that I recommend staying here. It’s a great option as a base to explore the beauty of the area.
Very nice hotel, the staff were super friendly and recommended great restaurants in the area. Room had a great view from the attached deck. Would definitely stay there again.
The owner of the hotel, Roxanne, is informative, friendly and out-going. She is a wealth of knowledge on the local community and offered great suggestions. Unbelievably she even asked if we had any discount cards or belonged to any groups looking to save us some money even after we agreed to pay the Hotels.com fee. She ended up saving us $20 -- unheard of in today's world. Kudos to Roxanne for truly out-standing customer service! We will go out of our way to stay at Walker River Lodge next time through the area.
It was a good stay. We went there for the hot springs, it just snowed the day before. We had a river view room that has the view of the beautiful snow. Front desk was very friendly and gave us suggestions regarding the road closures. I’ll definitely stay here in the future if I visit the area again.
