"Friendly reception, clean and spacious room. I didn't realise they were renovating, but there was no noticable noise. The only negative was no cups for beverages and I was supplied with paper cups when I asked for one - and only single use plastic cups for water."

"Mantra is the scum of society. They take your money (card hold) they lie to you and tell you it will be released within 24 hours but really you'll be fighting with them a week later to get your card hold released. Absolutely absurd. I will never stay at any Mantra ever again. The brand damage from this experience of being lied to is unforgettable. Scared for life. I HATE the Mantra!!!!!"

"We booked 3 rooms over a year ago & requested to be near each other. On arrival rooms had not been allocated & we could not be near each other. The bathroom in renovated room smelt of sewer. Buildings are very tired, needs an upgrade. Suite very dated. Not a kitchen, just a microwave. Rooms not worth asking price. Could definitely be more of an atmosphere. Staff are friendly. Food expensive."

"The room was facing the ocean and the magnificent view was beyond words. However our room was in a state of advanced disrepair and lack of maintenance which included- a very large crack in the mirror behind the bed , a number of cracked bathroom tiles and a general need of some loving care. Certainly not good enough especially at such top rate prices!"

"We were given a room right next to the pool on level 1. From 6am we had children screaming around the pool area which woke us up, and this carried on for the entire duration of the day. From 4:30pm there was live music so loud it felt like it was in our room. After the music ended it was back to noise from the pool. The back room of the apartment was as unusable due to the constant noise. I really hope no families with young children attempting to day nap, stay here. We paid for a premium beachfront room and the rooms on level 1 near the pool desperately need to be discount as there was nothing premium about our stay. The most disappointing part is that this was never communicated to us. Our ‘view’ was obstructed as it was on level 1 and had a number of structures over the view. We were deeply disappointed and feel the room should have been advertised differently as there is no way we would have booked this room as a premium beachfront. It’s false advertising!"

"Staff super friendly and helpful- Perhaps some more explanation of what is available eg bikes to use -at check in the man didn’t tell me but the next day a lovely young girl was like are you riding the bikes at all today ? And I was like oh I didn’t know it was free - or available."
