"This is a big lovely house with large beautifully decorated rooms- including several sitting rooms for visiting or reading. There is an amazing view from the terrace. Our hostess was very attentive and helpful and speaks English very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!"

The room was a little cramped with 4 and unfortunately very hot, but beds were very comforable and plenty of bedding and fresh towels provided, as well as helpful simple little extras such as shower gel and tissues. I like that a poster politely asks that people save energy (helping to reduce their bills and therefore cost for customers) by switching off lights etc. when leaving the room. "Ecolodge Beauregard wasn't what I was expecting. Don't take that as a negative it was a lovely location in the french countryside. The staff went above and beyond to help me get to the location, and make me feel at home. I would absolutely reccomend taking a car to get there, taxis are very expensive and Uber doesn't operate in this part of France. I stayed there ro visit castle Guedelon, an archeology project nearby i.e. figure out how to build a medieval castle by building one how it would...
