"We throughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Porto Azzuro. All the staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Special shout out to Andrea behind the bar who served a delicious range of complimentary snacks alongside the poolside cocktails. We had the 2 bedroom family room which had two balconies, perfect for getting the kids off to sleep and still being able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy a glass of wine. We did find the bed rather on the hard side but the staff arranged for a mattress topper to be fitted which made it very comfortable. The breakfast and lunch menu had a good selection and the staff were attentive. All in all a very pleasant stay."

"Parking was easy either out front the hotel or in their garage for $25 bucks a night, location was great short was to “Città Alta”, great neighborhood and staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was good as well lot of selection to chose from 6:30-10am were the times for breakfast. "

"Really enjoyed the cookie at the check-in and our room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There was a strange smell each time we returned to the room, where the taps and shower hadn’t been in use, but overall a good stay. We really enjoyed the pool area and the staff were very hospitable "

"We’ve had a lovely time at the hotel. The hotel is located in the Old Town and perfect location on the edge of the lake. We chose a double aspect balcony room. Our room was in the main hotel building. The room was a little dated but very clean. Shower was powerful and bathroom had bidet. The spa and pool are situated across the courtyard and unfortunately there is a very strong smell of sulphur as you walk through to the pool. The service in the bar was pretty much non existent, so we chose to have a drink elsewhere before finding somewhere for dinner. The breakfast was included in the price and was very good too. Plenty of choice with some others choices for an extra cost. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again, but only in the original building. Rooms 2 and 3 are the ones with sun beds on the balconies and have a fantastic view of the lake."

"This property is spotless, the staff are friendly and the food just gorgeous. The place is well thought out. A small car park, followed by the hot tub and pool, with sunbeds. There is also a sun terrace upstairs that is really nice but noone really used it apart from a couple of people. We never used the spa but you can book in to have a massage. The location is less than 5 mins to the lake and the town centre is about 10-15 min walk. Station is a good 25-30 mins walk but the tickets are easy to get and you can go to Verona, Milan or Venice quite easily. Great location, great staff and hotel. "
