"Only has A/C units in main room. The bedroom only had fan. But it is an older building so not surprised. Clive's was fantastic. Try the Empress G&T, very visually impressive and tasty too! Steak and Frites happy hour was delicious! Roof top dining great view, dinner was average."

"Very helpful staff especially when we asked them to fix small issue inside the washroom. In addition, staff were helpful when we try to navigate Fairmont Empress parking area which was confusing at start. Moreover, cleaning staff were amazing and always made the room clean and organize. Lastly, breakfast sausage was good with excellent drip coffee that made my brain focus and alive! During breakfast, the staff were accomodating when we told them that we are going to join whale watching tour. They did their best and made sure that our breakfast were done before the cut off time of the tour. We made it before the cut off time and saw three humpbacks!!! Keep up the good job guys and gals, and thank you for looking after us!"
