"Upon checkout today I explained all the issues to the person on the desk at the hotel and the response was because I booked with yourselves (Expedia) they are unable to do anything for me. In summary this break was a surprise getaway for our 12 year old daughter. The experience was that bad she didn’t want to stay for a second night and we had to drop her off at our parents house. Upon getting to our room we were missing towels and sheets, I had to go to reception to request these. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable her back was in agony the next morning, between us all we got no sleep due to the extreme noise coming from outside and then getting woke at 06:00 each morning from road works. The sink was also blocked making it unworkable. All this was reported to the hotel staff. The breakfast was terrible, the only eggs available was scrambled and they were terrible with green inside (picture provided). Overall one of our worst experiences ever and so disappointing that our daughter decided to leave on the second day. "

"Since we stayed last year there has been a renovation of the reception areas. The carpet, furniture and atmosphere is very much improved. The pool areas could do with a revamp. There is a lot of black mould around the walls and it would be nice for the jacuzzi areas to be useable to residents within the stay. The family rooms are well equipped with a fantastic feel to the decor. The showers are brilliant power showers and the cleaning staff are just amazing! Overall, a lovely stay - a nice change to the breakfast being serviced to order. A very enjoyable stay and hope to visit again very soon. "
