"The bed comfort was actually wonderful. The access to the property was not that easy. We found that confusing.
Once there the other thing that threw us off was we thought there was a jacuzzi there. Not that we would’ve used it, however it was a bit of a throw off of advertisement. The shower wasn’t that great either w the water pressure. "

"Not happy that the jacuzzi tubs in rooms have been removed but still show up in the pictures. Alot less appliances in room then before. Dvd player is no longer in room and the bed feel like you are sleeping on bricks. Been coming for years and always loved it. Disappointed in what they call upgrades. Then the hot tub was broken and not working. Super sad."
"This is usually my go to hotel when i come to town half dozen times a year. They never disappoint with their big comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast buffet. I always feel safe here."
"This was our second time staying here this year. Location is perfect. The rooms are nice. I’ve stayed with my children by myself as a woman and feel safe."
Chateau On The Lake Resort Spa and Convention Center
2/10 Terrible
"1st... the AC in our room was broke, the fan made a horrible noise. I contacted the front desk and they only said well let us know if it becomes a problem. We booked a room for 5 guests, it had one king bed and one pull out sofa. There was zero bedding for the sofa bed. The balcony was dirty and not kept up at all. The pool was closed saturday morning for cleaning. WHY??? would a hotel with guests with kids clean their pool on a Saturday Morning? There were several guests trying to take their kids and it was closed for hours."
Hyatt Vacation Club at The Lodges at Timber Ridge, Branson
2/10 Terrible
"Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. From the moment we walked in, everything felt outdated. Things only got worse when we went into the bedroom and found a massive stain on the bed.
We immediately called the front desk, only to be told that housekeeping was gone for the night. Instead of helping us properly, they sent security to leave a plastic bag with sheets for us to change the bedding ourselves. To make matters worse, they didn’t even bring the correct sheets the first time, so we had to wait again for security to come back with another set. We ended up making the bed ourselves with absolutely no assistance from the staff.
As if that wasn’t enough, water then started leaking from the ceiling through the ceiling fan. Only after we reported the leak did the front desk suddenly manage to “find” another room for us, despite previously telling us several times that nothing was available. This is all after multiple phone calls and being brushed off by the front desk. The lady at the front was very passive aggressive with no compassion to the situation. She told us that it is what it is basically.
Overall, the condition of the hotel, the lack of cleanliness, and especially the way the situation was handled by staff made this a very frustrating experience. This all lasted from 11pm till 1:30am until we finally were able to lay down after a long drive. We will not stay here again."
