"Det har en skøn beliggenhed og udsigten og vandet kan ikke være bedre, derfor er undringen også stor over at man ikke renovere så skønt er sted. Det er meget slidt.. vi så ikke noget personale i de 2 dage vi var der. Vi prøvede ikke morgenmaden, syntes det var for dyrt. Spillerummet var en af grundende til at vi bookede netop dette hotel, men alt var i stykker og kunne ikke rigtig bruges. Mega ærgerligt."

"We had a great stay here. It’s in an old building, so can’t be compared to a modern hotel as far as amenities, but we had everything we needed, and the manager was great. The only thing I would suggest is a mirror near an outlet. Staying in a building this old is special, as is the rest of the old town."

"Charming hotel. Rooms are very large and well appointed. Breakfast is very good. The hotel is very well kept and the town of Tonder is beautiful and historic."

"The room was very clean and the staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly throughout my stay. The room itself was a bit on the small side, and the walls between rooms are quite thin, so you can hear your neighbors. Breakfast was okay but fairly basic, nothing particularly memorable. Overall, I found the hotel somewhat overpriced, but it seems to be one of the better options available when staying in Aabenraa."

"The room could've been better with a double bed, but other than that there was nothing wrong with the place. It was perfectly located near the train station."

"Pro’s: Bed was reasonable. Room was a comfortable size, there was an on suite bathroom. Nice enough breakfast. Con’s: Terrible, strange rude women at reception every day and night. Correction, she was never at reception but in a room behind with a dart board etc where you had to call to her to come to reception to do her job which she clearly didn’t want to do. Rude in her speaking to us, irritated that we had German passports but spoke English. Weirdly ending sentences halfway through with eyes strangely rolling. She didn’t even open the passports to check if we are who we say we are. I’ve never seen that before at a hotel. In the morning coming to clean our table with a wet cloth but cleaning only half the table half heartedly doing half her job as usual. Pools outside all dark brown with fungi growing in them. Broken football goal fallen over with the net twisted around the top post also in full view of the breakfrast area outside as is the pool. Bathroom, ours had a glass shelf half inside a metal frame slanting at 30 degrees towards us and with a glass hand soap dispenser teetering on the edge. I had to take it down to the basin for fear of it falling and what if the loose glass shelf fell on my foot. Weird basin and shower combination tap with a long pipe to the basin and a switch to change between the shower and the basin. Once we had showered a terrible smell came up from the shower drain which filled the whole hotel room making us barely able to breath. "

"we had a great stay at this lovely apartment. We ordered a continental breakfast which was left in the fridge for us with a selection of breads, homemade preserves, etc. There is everything there that you could need. we would definitely stay there again if we are visiting the area."
