"Amazing, unique place that offers a unique experience. The rooms are small but well appointed. They are

friendly in the rooms as well as pub/restaurant. The ruins are available to be toured and the local residents add a lovely addition to the experience. To note, the pub/restaurant/check in does not open at all until 3 pm so don’t arrive early. Food and drink are excellent."

friendly so there were occasionally

odors but they clearly work hard to minimize them. Would recommend. My only complaint is that I personally didn’t like the air freshener used in the bathroom but I survived ;). "

"The owners were Absolutely wonderful. Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Offered a packed lunch which was delicious and very helpful to our journey along Hadrian's Wall. Booked a reservation for our dinner in town. The room was spacious, clean and had every amenity you could want. Highly recommend this property!!! Breakfast was also to order at your requested time!! "
