"Stayed here whilst visiting a chateau in the area. Lovely peaceful surroundings, giant chess in the vast gardens and a tree swing. Added bonus for us was the free electric charge points. You had to get a code from reception and they were only slow chargers but that was ideal for us as we plugged in overnight. Staff were very friendly and helpful. "We had a great couple of nights at the hotel. The pod arrangement is unique and makes for a memorable stay. The staff are fantastic and a special mention to Maxim the cocktail mixologist. The spa facilities are excellent with the pool at the perfect temperature. The only slight negative points were, the rooms do not have air conditioning and we stayed during a heatwave. The buffet restaurant is not that great, I was expecting something better given that the other restaurant has a Michelin star."
