Hotels near Boykin Park

"Parking was okay but could have be clean more withoyt sticky stuff on the walk way. Toilet had piss in it and would'nt flush. The room was half clean. I was charge extra after i paid thru Expedia. A/C was cooling but it could have been secured in the window more without looking at the blue walk way. Staff was okay but slow at getting things done. I have worked in hotel cleaning but never seen anything like this. Even stsying ag different hot we l rooms"

"I walked in at 8 pm and the front desk staff told me that they had no clean rooms and they don't know when they will be cleaned. I asked if there was an ETA and she said no, without any apology. She told me to cancel my reservation with the 3rd party, so I reached out via chat to that one and asked to speak with a manager. She said there were no managers on site. A manager was called and the front desk person briefly explained the issue, and the manager instructed her to kick me out because she didn't like my questions. I explained that I had already paid for the room and that I had been driving 12 hours and she couldn't care less. She was short and told me to leave the property, which I did. I have never been treated this way in my life. The staff at this property missed the main service they are supposed to provide - rooms and customer service. "

"Property is showing its age. My room had no USB ports meaning I could not easily recharge my phone or laptop. Fortunately, I had an adaptor so could recharge one each night but not both. Equally problematic, there was no lamp on the bedside table meaning I had to pull a floor lamp over in order to read anything at night. The bathtub finish was flaking off suggesting the tub should be refinished or replaced. "

"We stayed two nights. Overall the hotel looks clean but I took a white towel to wipe water off the floor and the towel was filthy afterwards. The air conditioner wasn’t working at first, I kinda knocked on it one good time and it started working. I normally wouldn’t complain about those things but I was itching uncontrollably all through the morning while I was asleep but nothing was there. My wife started itching later. We slept in so we had to rush out but the bites showed up on me. Pretty sure there were bed bugs. "
