"Packwood Lodge was everything we were hoping it would be, and more! The room was clean, fresh, and well stocked with toiletries. The staff were very helpful and friendly - it was obvious that they truly wanted us to have a pleasant stay!
The restaurant next door had outstanding food with equally excellent service! Just a few miles down the road there were several fantastic restaurants and stores!

"Great location at the Nisqually entrance of Mount Rainier, to a great restaurant/café a block away. We stayed upstairs and the only thing of note is that the stairs were built many years before building codes standardized them. They steps themselves weren’t very deep and were also steep, but not unmanageable. Just worth noting if that kind of a thing is an issue. There was a handrail and signage reminding you to take precautions."

It was close to the downtown area where they had a grocery and several restaurants. The closest road to Mount Rainier National Park was closed so we had to drive around to the Nisqually entrance, which was about an hour away. Not too terrible as the ride through the mountains was beautiful! Thanks!"
