"I'm used to 3 star hotels. This hotel is truly 4 star. The cleanliness, the staff and our very affordable ocean view suite with spectacular views of Mt. Etna, the Straits of Messina, and sunsets was wonderful. The robes and slippers is a nice perk. The hotel location is a few minutes walk to the high speed ferry to Messina, Sicily and a few minutes walk to the Lido train station. The hotel is convenient to the Lungomare waterfront and the famous Archeological Museum as well as several art galleries and shopping. All less than 10 minutes away by walking. Bocconissimo, the fabulous hotel restaurant, is open for a full buffet breakfast 7-10 am and dinner from 7:30-10 pm with a spectacular menu from delicious pizza to scrumptious pasta dishes, all with no salt and pepper needed, like some restaurants in Italy I've experienced. The downside to this hotel is the surroundings which were devastated by storm Harry in January. The city is working hard to restore the waterfront. However,don't miss this one!!!"

"This property was a short walk from the ferry going to Messina Italy it was also a short walk to the train station where you can take the train to any other Italian city people are very friendly here. Housekeeping kept the room fresh and clean Rooftop Bar was open views were phenomenal"

"Exceptionally friendly service. Spectacular views. We took bus number 12 and walked to the property, the 20 minutes uphill were steep. Everything was clean, and well presented. Would definitely recommend. "

"This hotel property has the potential to be an amazing stay along the beach front. Very disappointed lack of communication from the reception staff. The property is run down, broken pavement, untidy around the building and the lift area. Loud noise music every night till 1am… It wasn’t cheap to stay!! Housekeeping was clean but unpleasant smell through the air conditioning. Strained carpets throughout the building and room. Have stayed there before thought may have been improved. I will never stay again or recommend to anyone else! I hope the owners see this review understand that this is not acceptable. The owners and staff need to appreciate the value of customers who are on holidays not be treated like a burden. Room for improvements!! "
