"We loved our stay here the front desk staff was helpful especially with navigating the bus routes! Our room was beautiful. There was easy access to a very nice beach. There were a couple restaurant options within walking distance on the beach. It’s about at 20 minute walk to old town Skiathos or a quick bus route from stop 5 to stop 0. Breakfast was okay for a breakfast buffet."

Handy for both the port and the airport. restaurants and shops all near by and lovely sunbathing terrace with pool (although we had no time to use it!) Staff were so friendly and accommodating. "We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. The main bus stop for the town is right outside too which was great. The staff are fantastic! Evi at reception was extremely helpful, booking our Lalaria boat trip and a restaurant for us during our stay. They were also able to recommend a sheltered beach for us to visit on a windier day which we had a lovely time at, and there is always a member of staff to greet you at the entrance. The hotel and room itself was always clean and our balcony had a view of the sea which was great! The buffet breakfast was superb with a huge choice of food and is located upstairs so has an amazing view out to sea while you eat. The bar area downstairs was also lovely and had a great choice of cocktails. Although we didn’t use the pool much due to being so busy in our short stay, it seemed very nice with lots of sun loungers and chairs around. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay - I would definitely stay at Alkyon Hotel again and recommend to friends!"
