"Rooms was clean, staff asked preference of floor which was a first for me! Breakfast was good. Air conditioning worked so well. Few things are room smelled a little off and the toilet kept running but other than that a good hotel for our overnight stay!"

"The downstairs bar tender was nice but certainly not punctual. I do not recall her name, but she was of African American decent with afro resembled hair maybe early to mid-30's. There were only 4 people at the bar, yet she took an extended amount of time to return when we asked for anything. She was not knowledge about the menu and did not offer personal favorites. She did not engage in conversation with us yet had no trouble talking amongst her colleagues. We had the butternut squash which was bland, and offered no flavor. The kale salad was lacking any flavor except a lettuce taste. I certainly did not feel welcomed. Our dinning time was unimpressionable. Our room was gorgeous and the snacks/drinks were delightful. The television was our biggest concern. No matter what channel we turned to, there was a continuous glitch making the words of the show delayed with its actions. I would think a better quality television or, at least the opportunity to log into our own streaming platform, would be available for the price that we had to pay. We considered ordering room service, but refrained due to a 20% gratuity plus a $5 additional charge. That seemed a bit extreme. When checking out my vehicle with the valet, it would have been nice to have been given a chance to tip through the app. I did not have cash to give him."

"Upon arrival we were told they ran out of bottled water. Not a huge deal but inconvenient considering we were told it wasn't safe to walk anywhere to get water. I noticed the pool was out of order on the way to my room too. At 1 am someone attempted to open my door and succeeded until the dead bolt caught it. They were obviously given a key to my room and were banging the door back and forth until I was able to answer it. It was a little startling after being told the neighborhood was so dangerous that I couldn't walk to buy water. Thanks to that and being a little dehydrated I got about 3 hours of sleep. I decided to get up at 4 am since I couldn't sleep and found that there wasn't any hot water. After running the shower for nearly 10 min the best it got was less cold. I jumped in to deal with the cold shower and was welcomed with something in the corner of the shower that appeared to be mold and gunk, and a sweet little pubic hair on the rail above the soap dispenser. There was also black mold visible in the overflow drain in the sink. The room was small but appeared generally clean until going to shower so I'm giving it a 2, but I definitely won't be staying here again. "
