"Playa Cativo Lodge is a wonderful place and the accommodations, food and staff were absolutely perfect. It was nice to be so close to the gulf which was calm, warm, sandy and perfect for swimming. My only complaint was that the entire front area of the lodge has been landscaped with grass and ornamental plants, many of which are not native. "View is insane. Stunning. Short drive up a long road which is unusual for Costa Rica. Beautiful lobby and rooms. Well appointed rooms with everything you need. The staff are rockstars. They do it all. English and Spanish spoken by all. Franciso, Michele and Roxanne are an asset to the hotel. They understand service with a smile and learn preferences quickly. Right next to Ojachal and minutes away from Uvita. You won't want to leave."
