"Bright, modern and clean hotel. There was plenty of choice at the buffet style breakfast. Cooked food was made to order. Coffee could be improved. Freshly brewed or a coffee machine would be better than instant."

"So Negatives: The toilet door wouldn't close, the door was slightly bigger than the frame. There was two of us so that made it a bit awkward to use the toilet. The bedding was horrible, it wasn't fitted and came off so easily. It was just tucked under the mattress almost like a thin sheet. Hated having to keep putting that back on after it just sliding off so easily. The mattress was well and truly disgusting, heavily stained. We got the hill view. Positives: Unlike most places I stay at, you actually provided hot chocolate. It's usually just tea and coffee everywhere else."

"As always, our room and bathroom were clean and well equipped. We were welcomed by reception staff, who made sure we had all we needed. There is plenty of free parking right outside the lodge. Can’t comment on breakfast, as we didn’t have it. The hotel is in a very convenient location, less than a 2 minute drive (10 minute walk) in to the town center."

"We knew the bathroom was not en suite, but we did not realize how far from our room it would be for middle of the night trips up and down all those stairs! The breakfast was very good. Perhaps they could add some yoghurt. Staff in breakfast room was lovely. No view."

"I'd stayed at the hotel once before and had a front facing room which was just superb. This time I had a back room which had no view so was a little disappointing. On the other hand, being solo and with a dog, it was easier than trying to climb the stairs. It wasn't a big deal as I was only there for one night. There is no allocated parking so it's pot luck along the front. I got within about 100m. There are no evening meals served so it's a walk along the front to a cafe which was fine. The room itself was plenty big enough, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. I'd stay there again, but next time might request a front facing bedroom, the stairs would be worth it."

"There's nowhere quite so perfect as the Harbourmaster. From the location, to the amazing staff and the wonderful and beautifully Welsh accommodation ...I've lost count of the number times we've stayed and I was always feel sad to leave. Diolch yn fawr iawn am arhosiad gwych."
