"The hotel, the location and staff if excellent. It is quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Venice city. Perfect to relax close to nature. The man made lake provides perfect backdrop. The hotel staff is very helpful from the moment we checked in with Gloria. I would always recommend booking the Spa as soon as you done the hotel booking. Anna at the bar was brilliant when she made my drink she made it perfectly and even asked me to check if it is to my likings. Breakfast was lovely with both hot and cold options. We were served by (apologies if I say the name wrong) Marianeal, she was running the show as one man band. From leading the guests to the tables, topping up the food, getting us hot drinks and clearing the tables. Nothing was too much for her. There are few drawbacks in the hotel I found, where the hotel needs to improve on. One of them was no room water available. Everything you have to purchase as part of mini bar, even water with marked up prices. Even around the hotel you have to purchase bottled water. Rooms had slippers to offer but no gowns. Being a four star hotel I would expect that to be available. Bar prices were quite steep as well but expected being a remote location. I guess you pay for the location and feel rather than the actual drink. Check out time was changed from 12 to 11 and was only notified at the reception at the time of checking in, but Gloria swiftly rectified that for us. So all in all a very good, nice relaxing hotel."

"This stay was enjoyable! It did feel like it was mostly meant for older ones though. The breakfast was very good but there was only one person doing breakfast, that’s is, making coffees, clearing tables, taking inventory of food- so that made breakfast a little awkward the second day of our stay. The grounds were lovely though. We didn’t use the outdoor pool or the hot tub but they were both available. Our room had two bathrooms which was unusual, one meant for older ones and a nice beautiful bathroom. There is a laundry service (no self service) but they charge per article of clothing. The view from the room was nice!"
