"We really loved this place. It is in the middle of nowhere - but everything in Iceland kind of is. It was so peaceful here. The cottage was bigger than i imagined. "We had a very nice stay overall. We arrived close to the cutoff checkin time of 11:00 pm and had called in advance that we might be late. The owner was very understanding and accommodating. One issue we had was when we tried to use the hot water in the room after we checked in, it wasn’t working both for the sink and the shower. We called the front desk about it and they said that we would have to wait until the next morning as the tank was out of hot water. Other than that, the room was clean. We had the room with the loft as there were 3 of us. The free breakfast included was a nice treat. "
