"We loved our stay at the Sunset Cottage! It was one of our favorite places we stayed during our 10 days in Iceland. The cottage itself is located over a hill, several hundred meters away from the main buildings, and provides s lot of privacy. It was quiet and clean with wide open views of the countryside. We had breakfast on our last day ~$21USD/person), and it was great. We also ate at the restaurant onsite for several dinners so that we could enjoy the lovely waterfall view and delicious food....

"The room was comfy and plenty of towels available to use for hot tubs outside~ We had a delightful dinner of mushroom soup, baked brie, the baked bell pepper meal, wine and beer. Service was excellent. "

"We really liked the breakfast. It was one of the best of our entire trip. Free laundry Decent rooms. Some damage. Enjoyed our stay It does seem like it’s a one man show as the one man checked us. Cooked. Served and did check out the next morning "
