We paid extra for a river view room, but were very disappointed to find a scaffolding tower to the side of our balcony blocking half the view. The room was set back from the front of the hotel and so the remaining view was limited (Room 501). We asked to move, the staff were very accommodating, but it would have to be next day as they were full. When we got back from our day out and went to the new room, we were not impressed. "Quiet location that you have to drive to. Little disappointed to have to pay for on-site parking when you not close to central Boppard. Wifi did not work for us in the building but did work outside. The place was showing its age as it looks a little worn. Comfortable bed."
