The drive to Boothbay Harbor from the closest international airport in Portland, Maine takes about about 1.25 hours Take the train from Boston or Portland and rent a car in Brunswick for a scenic 45-minute drive down the peninsula to Boothbay Harbor. The town comes alive in the spring and summer. Visit in the winter for a cold and quiet but wonderful holiday experience.

We did not know what to expect and were so delighted! The check in was easy, the room was perfect clean and comfortable. Having a restaurant right on site was helpful for us. If we make our way up again, would definitely stay here again!

The location is centrally located, it’s between Wells beach and Wells harbor. There are excellent restaurants nearby that offer great seafood dishes, as well as international options. I95 is easily accessible, Portland is an easy drive, as well as Cape Elizabeth.
