"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. "The inn is lovely, perfect location, great staff, good food, free parking on the road, wonderfully comfy bed and great bathroom… but beware of room 7 with a sea view.. on the second floor up steep steps but the reason for the 3 star rating is that you will constantly hear the water pump every time anyone in the hotel uses a drop of water. ALL NIGHT LONG! Very hard to sleep or stay asleep when is constantly starting up close by the bed. Were exhausted the next day, so glad we only stayed one night. The water pressure on the second floor is fab…but the noise from the pump really is annoying. The hotel only has an emergency contact number and no overnight staff so by 11pm when you realise that the pump is going to be jolting you awake regularly there is no one that can help."
