"This place shouldn't really be classified as a hotel, it's old and decrepit, the reception when we arrived was inaccessible, we weren't given any information by email on how to access it and the lady who eventually opened the door only spoke French so we interpreted various codes to access the lift, the front door and the room. "A most charming place to stay nestled in the hills of the Massif Central, this was formerly the village school house and retains many original features. Dinner was provided by the hosts and was particularly well received. Breakfast was basic but no less delicious for that."

"We found it difficult to enter the hotel when we arrived. Although the room can best be described as adequate it was far from welcoming , the staff were good at there jobs but again not welcoming. The best is adequate and to say we won’t stay there again says it all."

Very comfortable bed though traditional bolster with huge pillow and bed covers could be replaced.
