"With such a low daily cost, I was worried it would be minimal. But to my pleasant surprise, the room I was given was very modern looking. It had its own bathroom, and plugs for charging along with strong WiFi. Nice comfortable queen sized bed and a bunk bed. Deborah and her husband were very attentive hosts. "This was a lush beautiful property, not what i thought with a name like airport lodge. Nice walking paths, trees were labeled, and food was excellent. I told my husband i wished we had more time there. We also noticed a board whereby you could sign up for day exploration trips."

"I had such a wonderful stay here. The hotel is lovely and immaculate. The rooms had a private balcony. The staff was unbelievably welcoming to us ( we stayed there our first two nights in Tanzania). They always went out of our way to provide hospitality. The food was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! And it also is satisfying that the income from the hotel goes to support the adjacent school!"

"Modern hotel in central Moshi. Staff were amazing! My suitcase lock broke & I couldn’t open the outside of my suitcase & they came up with tools to save the day. At breakfast, they accommodated my vegan needs & the cook even made fresh sweet treats for me. They helped me get a safe taxi to my starting tour hotel. I picked a Kilimanjaro view room & was given a 7th floor one. It had fantastic windows which would have made for a spectacular view but the clouds kept Kili hidden for my stay. Location was great to walk to Union Cafe, ATM or shop next door for water/snacks. Kibo Hotel helped make the start of my Tanzanian vacation go even better than expected."

"The property was exactly as described. We arrived fairly late in the evening and booked very last minute so I really appreciated how they were able to accommodate us. Aileen, the property manager, arranged our pickup and return ride to the airport. She was kind, very responsive, and also made us breakfast! If you’re looking for something simple for a night or two I recommend booking this place."
