Pet friendly Hotels in Bolingbrook, Chicago

"The hotel is amazing. The lobby and bar is amazing. The drinks are fantastic. The staff is super helpful and nice. They gym was huge. The hotel is worth it for the history itself. However, the rooms are really dated. The bedding and pillows are terrible. Peeling wallpaper, dingy rugs and furniture. The tv only worked for pay movies. The hotel is beautiful and I would come back for a drink or brownie in the bar but not to stay overnight. "

"Kinzie hotel and its staff was completely fantastic. Conveniently located to dining and attractions. I felt like their profile undersold the continental breakfast they offer: in addition to yogurt, cereal, waffles and other pastries, they had a daily selection of Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. (Maybe not a fine breakfast buffet, but not too bad for complimentary at a hotel of this caliber.) Zach, Anderson and 1 of the ladies working the main front desk (missed her name) were all fantastic: we needed for nothing. Hotel had no issues accommodating our requests for additional pillows and replacing towels and emptying trash at our convenience when we declined traditional housekeeping services. Service was always speedy and with a smile. Someone offered us bottled water (visited during a big heat wave) almost every time we entered the hotel. Staff offered to call us a taxi when we were discussing plans for the day. (Side note on that one: use Lyft or Uber: some of the cabs will try to scam you badly.) Room was clean ang comfortable. We were on the 6th floor and even with the blackout blinds closed all day, we couldn’t get the room temp below 71.5°. Totally fine for the day but would’ve liked a little cooler at night (although we slept soundly in the comfortable bedding, including our child in the sofa bed.) Room was more spacious than we expected even with the sofa bed extended for the duration of our stay. Room doesn’t have a microwave, but a communal one was available."

"We stayed here for a family trip to Chicago. The hotel was a classy feel and is walkable to the river walk, several theaters, and not too far of a walk to Millennium Park and the Art Institute. We enjoyed hearing able to walk all over the city even into the night and feel safe. The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. "
