"I am not one to complain, I chose this hotel because of good reviews - not sure if these people stayed in the same hotel I did. The first room (113) smelled like cigarettes and the air conditioner was literally in pieces on the floor, thankfully they moved us to a different room that had working AC and didn't smell. The shower had mold, dispensers were empty, floors were not clean, the hallway carpets are stained, elevators are filthy. The first night they changed out the towels but never touched the room, second night we didn't even get towels. The front desk was always very nice and accommodating though - they gave us clean towels. It appears this is a newer hotel, but has not been maintained at all, it is not being cleaned, and is rapidly falling into the Red Roof Inn category. There are many other name-brand hotels on the same street, I would advise using them."

"The staff was so amazing. I can’t say enough good about them. The room was quiet and comfortable and the pool was quite enjoyable. The only thing that wasn’t wonderful was the breakfast. While it did have some hot options, it didn’t have many options for people who can’t eat carbs and sugars."

"Room was ok. Sheet had a weird stain on it. Bathroom was clean. Parking was great. I don't like staying at pet friendly hotels. They never clean up the dog hair. The hallway seemed to have several bleach like stairs in the carpet. Renovations are needed. The service desk could use a customer service class. The breakfast was horrible. Just go to the Waffle house. It was decent I guess since we were not in the room much. They really could do better with the upkeep. This is the 2nd time for La Quinta. Last time in Savanna we left,sent us to an uncleaned room. I may have to pass on this franchise period. This is not as described."

"There was a heavy stench of smoke and mildew. It was not thoroughly clean and evident that has been the non standard for a long time. The beds are old. The linens are old. It’s more of a lowest budget hotel Definitely not worth the $100 price we paid and there’s no way it deserves a rating as high as stayed on Expedia."

"This was a horrible stay. Elevators weren’t working. People were complaining about a woman screaming. There was a man bleeding from head in hallway. I was kept up from 12:30-4:30 am by people screaming outside my door. Eventually cops came and broke into room across the hall and things quieted. It was scary. They did refund my stay at least. "

"Great pit stop for a quiet nights sleep. The property was well lit and everything you’d need as well as a Waffle House right next door. Room was clean and bathroom was large and clean as well. I would definitely stay again if we were passing through. "
