"Idyllic hotel in the middle of Baveno. From arrival all staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The facilities were lovely and you can also use the shared facilities at the Grand Dino Hotel. Perfect for a retreat by Lake Maggorie. I would definitely return and recommend. Only feedback I’d give to the hotel is our room did not have a full length mirror which I would have liked."

We had 2 rooms for our family of 4 which were ready before the check in time, spotlessly clean and spacious with amazing views & lovely balconies. The breakfast choice was plentiful, with a cold buffet or a hot choice, all of excellent quality and quantity. Special mention to the housekeeping staff who kept the rooms and the entire hotel wonderfully clean & tidy, discretely & quietly but always with a cheery hello! The location was beautiful and only a 10 minute stroll to the centre of Stresa where plenty of great restaurants can be found. Absolutely no faults, can not praise it enough & would highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel! This is our second time staying in The Astoria & it won’t be the last! Thank you to the whole team! "
