"Hotel Fasano is located outside Punta Del Este in a somewhat remote location. It is pricey, but absolutely out-of-this-world beautiful! Staff, service and accommodations were impeccable. David, the manager, is hands-on, very responsive, and on top of everything. We will be back!"

We received complimentary upgrades, our room was ready well before the official check-in time, and the concierge assisted with all reservations, recommendations, and daily plans. The personalized attention to every detail is exactly what makes VIK stand out. Highly recommended, just like all of their properties."

"Very poorly maintained hotel.
General smell of mildew.
Cleanliness in public areas was awful. No attention to detail such as refinishing the bathroom wall where a plumbing connection had been changed. I had a completely broken closet door in my room and a constantly leaking hair conditioner dispenser in the shower, creating a slimy puddle. The water for the Jacuzzi was a little more than warm but not hot. Breakfast isn't served until 9:00 and the in-room coffee is instant. Would not reccomend."
