"This hotel is great value for money. Although the rooms are basic and simple, they had everything I needed - a good shower, a modern bathroom, a clean bed and room, a working (mini) refrigerator and an exterior window.
The staff are courteous, welcoming and helpful.
I stayed during a heatwave and the aircon was able to cope, keeping the roof fresh day and night.
And above everything, the hotel is very centrally-located, right in the centre of Almeria, two minutes walk to Puerta Purchena and the Paseo, near all the tourist and hospitality locations."
"A good standard hotel. Nothing particularly remarkable in location or experience. The room was hot in spite of the AC but we didn’t ask for anything as we were there only one night. Ask at the desk if you go in summer. The bus 5 nearby takes you to the Archaeological Museum of Almería which is not far and it’s amazing, with an extraordinary display of the mysterious Millares and Argar Calcolitic Civilizations. Keep in that bus and you get to the beach. It’s a nice promenade, for local family vacations."
"Beautiful place but need to go into it thinking it’s more like an Airbnb. Do
Your shopping before you arrive as there is nothing there. The onsite restaurant is amazing but not open often. No breakfast included even though on booking it says it is. You’ll need to buy essentials like milk, coffee, tea, basically everything food wise but it has its own kitchen and fridge freezer and cutlery etc.
Amazing views
Pool great
Waterfall appreciated !
We booked the jacuzzi room and it was lovely.
Sleep With shutters closed as you’ll hear every dog and cockerel within miles in the valley. It can be peaceful but not from 04:30!!
The air conditioning was welcoming and worked well and was quiet.
There’s alot of flies but we bought a huge can of spray to keep them at bay in the apartment.
The room doesn’t get cleaned daily but that was fine with us as it didn’t need doing.
There is one guy (Jose) who looks after the whole area who speaks no English but very friendly and as helpful as he can be. But I was on WhatsApp with the owner who would relay messages to Jose.
If you walk down into the village square (5mins) there is a wonderful kiosk that does great Tapas etc and the locals frequent it nightly which shows how good it is. You’ll need google translate and it is perfectly Spanish speaking only. We went often as the food was wonderful. The prices were extremely low. All in all, we would definitely go back."
"we stayed for 7 nights at the exe almeria and have no complaints at all, its within minutes
of all the cathedral and other sites worth visiting and there are many, the hotel is very clean and easy to navigate, our room was lardge and well appointed with a view of the pool and the Alcazaba, breakfast was great with plenty of choice and replenished frequently ,coffee, tea, cold cuts, cheese, serials, various types of bread, fresh fruit, pastries, hot selection ( bacon scrambled eggs etc) plenty to start you day, the staff cant do enough to help, even took our cases to our room, 10/10 I would highly recommend."
"We loved this hotel. The rooms, food and pool were great. The only thing I would say is more info on the towels for the pool would be good.
A big shoutout to the man running the bar and restaurant on a very busy evening. Epic cocktail maker. Also had to work as a waiter to everyone taking food orders and serving meals. All done with good humour and a big smile. Deserves a raise as well as a big pat on the back. I hope you let him know this."
