Hotels with Swimming Pool in Bocas Town, Bocas del Toro

"All good but not beyond."

"Beware! This hotel is not in central Bocas Town, even though that is where the Expedia map and the "View in a map" function shows the hotel to be. The hotel is actually on Isla Pastores, which is at least a 30 min boat ride from Bocas Town. The hotel is not at all convenient for the main Bocas del Toro attractions, such as snorkeling, surfing, Starfish beach, Red Frog beach, Zapatilla Islands, etc. The hotel appears to be trying to lure customers into thinking that it is centrally located....

"The property itself is beautiful - quiet, peaceful, and perfect if you’re looking to relax and disconnect a bit. The room was in great shape and very comfortable. There's no direct beach access from the hotel, but right out front you'll find a surf spot. Even if you don't surf, watching the surfers battle the waves is oddly entertaining and a great way to spend time doing nothing (in the best way). "Everything was fantastic, my host Joan was incredibly welcoming and helpful in making my experience in Bocas great. I was fortunate to get a room upgrade which I’m grateful for and got to be in the over water bungalows. The food was delicious, especially the lobster!! The staff, location… I reiterate, everything! "Red Frog Island Beach houses are very, very nice. It would be nice to have a few items in there for cooking, like salt, spices, or oil. The restaurant and service could be improved. The menu has only bar food, and the waiters are inexperienced. These suggestions being made, we did enjoy our stay."
