"The room was clean, felt cozy and not like your regular hotel room. It usually takes us a couple hours to settle in but we felt comfortable and at home immediately. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Parking is easy and onsite. Location is great, Avila Beach is a few minutes away and downtown SLO is also a few minutes away. I am definitely going to return and recommend for a nice and relaxing weekend getaway. The shower and tub are all connected so it is challenging getting in if you're shorter or have physical challenges with your legs. "

"We spent 4 nights here in mid October in a one bedroomed unit. The building and grounds were very well maintained and the unit was modern and stylish with plenty of home comforts. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and crockery for preparing cold or hot food. A nice pool area which was not crowded during our visit (neither was the resort) and whilst we didn’t make use of the BBQ grills, we saw a number of others doing so. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony which had a view of the beach. A short walk to the beach and some local restaurants and only a short drive to San Luis Obispo and the PCH. This is a good alternative to a hotel room with the additional space and options to self cater and we wouldn’t hesitate to chose a vacation club in future. "

"We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday and instantly fell in love with this campsite—we didn't want to leave after just two days! The experience was incredibly peaceful and restorative, offering stunning views of the bay covered in gorgeous ocean fog, set to the sound of birds singing. The facilities were top-notch: the bathrooms and showers are clean, and we appreciated the free morning coffee. We highly recommend renting the propane gas fireplace for $35; it was absolutely worth it and cozy, though we regret not renting it the first night! A note for future visitors: it can get quite cold at night, so bring warm layers. We stayed in a solar-operated Jute, and while the power dipped temporarily, a generator is available. Despite the chill, this is a beautiful spot just minutes from town. We will absolutely be back!"
