Amazing place, amazing people! Marilena is a really nice person and is willing to help with all questions one has regarding the island. Furthermore, the included breakfast is nice and the hotel has a very central location. Definitely recommendable!

A Paz a good opportunity

A Paz in the center of Sal Rei gives a Good opportunity to meet people and listen to music nearby. It has a nice service minded young people taking good care of you! As long as the b&b develops and takes care of its rooms it is a perfect location to meet open minded from all over the world!

Il B&B A Paz è molto carino, la mia camera era dipinta di giallo con tendaggi blu e tanti quadri tipici di Capo Verde. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. La terrazza dove si serve la prima colazione è graziosa. Splendido soggiorno, tenendo anche presente che questo B&B è situato nel centro della cittadina di Sal Rei, comodo a tutti i servizi e al mare.

Did not get what we booked

You know the feeling of having been cheated? When you know you are being tricked because you are a tourist. Its a nasty feeling, and it is how I felt when staying in this hotel. First I want to say, this is not a terrible hotel. But for the prize I payed it is a terrible hotel. In my backpacking days this would have been fine, but I did not pay a backpacking prize for this place! When we arrived we were given a room that reminded me of a prison cell. It was dark, moist and smelled of cat urine. We booked a double room with balcony and this room had two single beds and a door out to the stairs. When we were moved to another room we had to share bathroom with other guests. There were no soap or shower soap and there were ants in the bathroom and reception. The mosquito net in the room and bathroom was a joke, it didn't fit the windows. Though the rooms were clean enough, the table tops, wardrobe and curtains seems to have never been clean and were sticky with grease and dust. The towels smelled like forgotten wet gym towels. The worst was still that there were only one old fan flopping away over one of the single beds. In 28-35 degrees, this is torture. I hardly slept the first night, the second night we got a table fan after asking about 5 times. The one good thing I have to say about this place is that the staff was very friendly.

Hotel simples, com café da manha incluso, tb simples. Fica localizado bem no centro de SalRei e próximo a tudo, porém longe das praias mais bonitas. Na primeira noite nos deram um quarto horrível, cheirando a mofo, cama nada confortável. Reclamamos e ai nos mudaram para um quarto melhor, mais espaçoso. A internet é mto ruim, você só consegue conexão no terraço e se mais ninguém estiver usando. As vezes eles desligam o wi-fi a noite. Os funcionários são bem atenciosos e prestativos, porém ( acho que é o dono) tem um senhor, que fica sentado no terraço, com as pernas pra cima e não se importa se os hospedes tem que passar pra pegar os itens no buffet para o pequeno almoço

Great Location, Great Value and Great Local Staff!

This is an ideal B&B if you are looking for local Cape Verdian hospitality in the centre of Sal Rei. A Paz offers simple, clean, no-nonsense accommodation and my room was kept spotlessly clean with plenty of fresh towels. Free WiFi is available on the upstairs terrace and a good simple continental style breakfast is provided daily with good strong coffee. There are lots of great places nearby to grab a bite and a drink, and the beautiful beach is within easy walking distance. I enjoyed my stay at A Paz and would certainly stay again, thank you.

Das Zimmer ähnelte einer dunklen Höhle. Das Bad war in einem desolaten Zustand. Aus Asien kenn ich diese Art von Zimmer, zahle da aber 15 Euro und nicht 50Euro. Die Dachterasse mit dem Wlan war gut. Das Frühstück auch.

Landestypisches Hotel, super Lage, nette Leute

Waren für 4 Nächte im Hotel A PAZ. Wurden nach telefonischer Anmeldung von Deutschland aus sehr freundlich am Flughafen empfangen und zum Hotel gefahren. Der Empfang im Hotel nett und der Check Inn ohne Probleme. Super Lage mitten im Ort. Einfaches, aber gutes, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Nettes Ambiente auf der Dachterrasse. Der Supermarkt ist gleich um die Ecke. Zum Strand zu Fuß ca. 5 Minuten. WLAN auf dem Dach. Nettes, kleines landestypisches Hotel in bester Lage, um ein paar Tage Sal Rei kennenzulernen. Würden jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel besuchen.

Too real for comfort!

Staff were very pleasant. Hotel is pretty basic. English only spoken by a few. Breakfast is basic. Not even real fruit juice, some powder stuff... Access on-line difficult. Plenty of guests had problems with the showers and one seemingly had his credit card stolen....just saying!! My stupidity had me paying at the hotel not realising I'd pre-paid Expedia!!! They should not have taken it but my error, I was more used to the pay on arrival web sites!!! Expedia were however brilliant at refunding me as luckily I'd asked for a receipt. Sal Rei is fairly 3rd world-like. Not really for the faint hearted. That said some fabulous fish and food to be found in local restaurants!!!!

Good location,close to the beach,,quiet area.

If you looking for low price room so its perfect place.Its no TV in rooms but for me was OK.My consideration was locker safe,unfortunatlly they dont have.Breakfast was basic but very clean.The bulbs should be change and check by staff often,in my room was only 2 works..I think its not so expensive to buy kettle for room to make coffee or tea .If i want back to Boa Vista certainly i want book again same hotel.

Hotellet heter egentligen A Paz residence och skall man få en vägbeskrivning är det det namnet man bör uppge. Rummet är ganska spartanskt men hyfsat bekvämt, enda minuset är duschen som verkligen saknar tryck. Frukosten är helt ok även om jag saknade svart te. Hotellet ligger nära stadskärnan men inte heller så långt från stranden. Trots att fet var varmt ute var rummet alltid behagligt svalt.

Budget but good

Very big Room and clean, good for the amount of money. I had some problems with the toilet though, and it was also hard to communicate since the staff didn't speak english. But in totalt it was a good budget Hotel.
