Family friendly Hotels in Bluefield, West Virginia

"Upon arrival you will find an older lodge type accommodation. Everyone was efficient and friendly. Plenty of towels, you can get ice down in the lobby thru the restaurant. Rooms are older and haven’t been updated in a while, but the location and view of the lake is why you come (unless it’s winter-then skiers) There is a bar/grill that serves dinner- no breakfast. Beds are older and could be updated, but rooms were clean. Very quiet. Enjoyed live music the night we stayed."

"Our room was great. My daughter, Suzanne Funk’s room had a problem with the mattress on one of the double beds. She sat down and the entire mattress flipped up. Her husband found a piece that has come loose from the frame and tightened it. All was good. Clean rooms. Nice towels. "

"Traveling with 3 kids and a dog is always a blast (insert sarcasm) but when you need to find a hotel along the way, it can be stressful. We found this while traveling, was able to book it just before arriving and paid the same as we would have at a "cheaper" hotel. This place was very very nice. We had a suite with 2 queens, there was so much room. Our dog was accomidated and even given treats when we arrived. They had plenty of green area to walk your dog, and even had an outdoor hangout with a grill! Everything seemed very clean and well taken care of and Noah at the front desk was extremley polite and helpful. First hotel I have stayed where I couldn't really find a complaint to make. The price was fantastic and even included a hot breakfast that was served until 10:30... 10:30!!! Amazing. I will be looking to stay again next time i travel."
