Blue Ridge Parkway hotel rooms a the La Quinta Inn & Suites

"It would be nice to have some type of map for the property. It's a big place and it would be nice to not get lost and have a map when we were wandering around. Everything was great"

"Room is dated but was VERY clean, the staff was excellent— every encounter. We didn’t do the breakfast buffet because it was $$, but we did enjoy room service once. They do charge a $3.50 fee to bring it up, then an unknown service charge for the cook, and then you still have to tip. Food was delicious. (Fees plus One pizza & 6 wings was $78– which is pricy for us). We were there 3 nights and saw a bear our first night and then four bears the night before we checked out. Getting up to the hotel is probably a HUGE challenge in winter months. You cannot walk to Gatlinburg fun but there is a trolley every 30 minutes. It fills up fast— but the drivers will cram you in! We will go back to Gatlinburg but probably not this hotel. Loved it though!!! "
